Orenco Woods (2017)

This is a short film soundtrack that I produced for the 48-Hour Film Project in Portland in June of 2017. I teamed up with the Storybox Creative team to create a complete short film in just 48 hours. With limited time and very little to go on during that whirlwind weekend, I’m still really pleased with the result. The music blends orchestral and electronic elements to create a suspenseful atmosphere.

Live Love Explore - Subaru Commercial

This track for a spec commercial for Subaru was another collaboration with Storybox Creative.    They wanted music that felt upbeat, cheerful and gradually built over the course of the spot. I used a mix of acoustic and electric guitars, simple harmonies and a gentle 'train' beat from the drums to give it movement and energy.

Do Things Right - Dodge Commercial

Another project with Storybox Creative was a track for a spec they created for Dodge trucks.  They were looking for music that felt calm, a little rustic and nostalgic. I approached it with gentle sweeping pads, wide open chords and subtle dulcimer accents to capture that warm, reflective feeling.

Hummus Video

This is a video produced for a recipe blogger. I created a fun acoustic/indie pop track for it, featuring acoustic guitar, bass, drum kit, and bells to give the music a light and playful feel.

Velvet Green

Original music composed for Velvet Green's production library, a bespoke music house for film, television, promos and advertising.  Most of the tracks I've created for them are in an 8-bit or chiptune-style inspired by classic video game music from the 70's and 80's.  A lot of fun!

Une Charogne (2009)

A few years ago, while teaching a film scoring class, I wrote the soundtrack for this music video as one of the projects I completed alongside my students. The video is public domain, and I removed the original audio so everything you hear was produced by me, including the poem recitation. The music is a groove-based electronic track that incorporates sampled vocal elements.
